For my 40th birthday, I took my parents and kids on a Disney Cruise (my 4th Disney cruise). My daughter threw a tantrum pre-cruise and said, trying to hurt my feelings, “I don’t even want to go on this cruise.” I responded, “What makes you think we’re doing this for you? We’re not doing this for you; we’re doing this for me!”
Family vacations as parents don’t mean a vacation. You’re just a mom in a different place. You must still figure out meals, fun, and plans for the kids throughout the day. This is why I love Disney cruises, meals- planned, entertainment- planned- clean-up- taken care of.
But why Disney when there’s more affordable options?
